Who pulls a trailer at 80 MPH? That's just asking for trouble.

Ok, did he say he did NOT have a trailer brake control? And he was going 80mph with a 24’ trailer on a half ton. I’m glad he seemed to like how it towed though.

Yep, no brake controller, no weight distribution or sway control. A large trailer that's empty would be worse in those winds than if it were loaded I would think.
Considering all of that it did pretty well.

I've pulled a 24 ft enclosed car trailer with half tons. No big deal. I had one of my cars loaded in the trailer. Attached picture. I run speed limits with them. Trips are Florida to Michigan and back. I'll be dragging a 20 footer with this truck.

Here's the truck and trailer yesterday. Went to the NMCA event going on over in Bradenton. About 160 miles each way. This thing sucks gas as bad as the Ecoboost towing (9.41 mpg hand calc on the way over). Truck is well behaved pulling about 7,000 lbs.
