The rails in the bed can be used to mount so many things, it is sad there aren't more ready made things for them. I used a set of mounts made for Tundra rails, it was between them and the ones made for the Gladiator, the Tundra ones were cheaper and I got an open box deal, so even better. The only modification needed was shorter bolts (they bottom out before clamping the mount), I just ground 3/16" off the ones that came with it and it fit perfectly. They have bottom "legs" with a rubber bumper on them made to rest against the bedside, I positioned them to contact the curve on the wheel hump.

What exactly are your plans for use of the high lift jack?

I've used it for a lot of things, mostly not for lifting vehicles, but I have twice on the trail. I've used it to raise roofs to replace support posts, lift out T posts, in place of a come-along,... It is handy to have. This is the third vehicle I have had this jack in now.
