Hello everyone, I just purchased a 2020 RAM 1500 Longhorn back in December of 2019. I have approximately 2,000 miles on it and here recently I hear a “whistle noise” coming either from the rear of the truck or passenger side. Not sure what it is but the noise is only heard when I press the gas peddle. Mind you, I don’t have a heavy foot but it clear be heard only when I accelerate. Can’t tell if it’s a raddled noise or some type of..... I don’t want speculate but it could be my throttle. Has anyone encounter this problem?

Hello RamBamJam,
We are certainly sorry to hear about your recent concern. We recommend addressing this with your dealer if you have not done so already. Please let us know via private message if you decide to have your dealer look into this. We would like to have this documented and have a case escalated in your behalf so a Case Specialist can work with your dealer to help find a potential solution.

I have the same issues with my new 2021 ram 1500 laramie 4x4 southwest edition. I've called the dealer and they said it was common and wasn't fixable, I have 1200 miles on my truck, I know the recirculation button helps when not on auto ac mode, but there's also whistling coming from rear passenger or maybe sunroof, idk. The 2 dealers local, especially 1, has very very bad attitude, bad reviews and did I say ugly attitude with their service dept. They have so many bad complaints, and I've had 2 bad, very bad experiences with them on my 2019 big horn night edition , it had to get both manifolds replaced, and had a awful antifreeze smell after they replaced manifolds, which they told me the rams have that smell included. Like it's supposed to smell like that, it didn't the 1st 40k miles? That's how confident I am in that service dept. The other dealer , where I bought my 2021, they said the whistle is common. That it's not fixable. ????
