Let the gate go a little too far today when going into my yard as my hands were full and it put a deep but small gash above the grill.

How can I fill this and do some touch up paint?

Im sure many wouldnt even notice it but since I know most of you are as OCD as I am its already bugging me

Paint and clear mixed 50/50 scuff in the gash and fill it so it’s a bubble. Wet sand and polish.

Silver with that much flake in it is EXTRAORDINARY difficult to work with. Touch up or wetsanding silver metallic is the #1 hardest detailing or painting task. Know that the shade of any work will probably not match perfectly.

Yeah it’s not that simple and could possibly end up looking worse. You aren’t filling a gash that deep with paint alone.
