Front license plate mounting

i purchased a new front license plate bracket from FCA and the holes do not align with the bumper holes. the top holes of the bracket fit good but the bottom holes are like maybe 1/2 inch off. any ideas as to what to do

Sounds like you might have ordered the wrong license plate cover. You need one for the DT body style not the DS.
