Front hitch with active air dam

I've searched and don't see anyone has done this. Looks like I'd have to remove the air dam and actuator. I figure it shouldn't be a big deal since some models don't have them.

Yes it can be done and its actually very easy to do. The front plastic trim has about 10 screws and a few plastic clips, and the active air dam itself is 4 bolts and the connection. Unplugging it does not throw any codes. I did mine for ground clearance and just taped over the connection and zip-tied it up and away. So far no real loss in mpg either, Good luck(y)

Did the install Saturday. Removed the active air dam. Trimmed and reinstalled the lower valence. Very happy with the result!
