I have put the first 200 miles towing in on my 19 Laramie sport appearance. Cant believe the difference in towing with my Laramie 3.92 vs 2013 sport 3.55. It will take a few tanks to get the real numbers but at 50-55mph towing 5,500lbs I am averaging 14.2mpg towing in the mountains of NY. Truck does not downshift nearly as much as my 2013. The best MPG I received on my 2013 was 11.1 making the same trip. Hoping not to lose too many MPG once I start towing at 65-70.

Sounds good on the rowing mileage. I am curious to see what kind of mileage you get at 65-70. I would think around the 11 mpg mark.

I just towed a 14’ utility trailer with a four wheeler and two dirt bikes. My 5.7 Hemi with e-torque and 3.92 gears averaged about 11 mpg. I was a little disappointed as this set up is not super heavy (maybe 4500 pounds). All highway about 70mph. I know my lift and tires hurt it but I was hoping for a few more mpg’s. Maybe it will improve some as the truck breaks in. I have less than 2000 miles o. It.

Interesting observation. On my 2012, my WORST mileage was always towing the side by side. I hauled enclosed motorcycle trailers (14 mpg), utility trailers (14-16 mpg), tractors on a tandem trailer (14 mpg). However, the worst was always hauling the ATV (with roof) in our 12' utility trailer. I could feel the wind catching....it drove like I was towing a parachute--and returned mileage like I was... (10.5 mpg).

Nice rig. If I ever get rid of my bass boat, I'll get one more like yours. Most of my fishing and boating are on Stockton Lake, which is about 30 miles long. As for the mileage, the difference between 50-55 and 65-70 will be significant--likely around 25-30%. Once your truck is broken in, I would expect much for than 11-12 at 70. At 65 you might get 13-14. I hope I'm wrong, but physics are not on your side.

I haven’t towed my 22’ enclosed car hauler yet. I usually get around 10 mpg with my 2010. I was hoping for better with this truck but I’m doubting that now.
