Has anyone ever embarked on this quest? I have a a Bighorn with the diesel grey premium cloth seats. I love everything about my truck, but one of my 2 regrets was not getting a leather seating inside.

Has anyone converted their cloth seats to leather? Would this work be done by a local auto upholstery place? Would you mind sharing a rough price of what it cost you?

Almost every vehicle I have had to this point has had a leather seating surface and I’m not sure why I didn’t go with this on my current rig. One of the trucks I was considering, the salesperson said they could put leather in for me, so I’m sure it can be done.

Thanks for your time and input!

Nice, those look great. If you already have Heated seats, wouldn’t they just install over the heating element?

This was one brand that came up for me, but I didn’t see any installers in PA.

Yes, they can be installed over factory heated seats. You just need to choose perforated leather for the seating surface.

Katzkin seats are very nice seats. With Katzkin, the factory cloth seat covers are removed and the Katzkin covers are installed in its place. If you want a leather seat cover that just goes over the factory cloth seats but looks like leather seats, consider Clazzio seat covers. My son put them on his 4th gen Big Horn. Clazzio makes them for 5th gen Rams as well and you can customize with different colors, two-tones, embroidery, stitching, etc. Here's a couple of pictures of my son's interior and they have held up perfect. He did his own installation. Click on pictures to enlarge.

I ordered fully custom Katzkins and installed them myself - which I do not recommend doing - and it was about $1150. That’s with suede, piping, diamond stitching, and perforation upcharges as well.

Those look pretty damn good, love the pattern and the color of the piping

I had Clazzio on my 4th Gen, loved them, easy install and everyone thought it was factory leather, I'm waiting to see some install pics on a 5th Gen.

My Laramie came with leather seats but I recently had katzkins installed in my challenger, very easy process cost was roughly $2200.00. Came out great it included seats console and door trim. BAE7E057-E536-42F8-81D5-2BD4DBC016DE.jpeg CD6C57C9-C9A0-4964-B248-6DDAFA95FD01.jpeg

Finally installed. 3 hours of blood, sweat and tears. This is just the front. Tackle the rear next weekend. My hands are sore like hell, but worth it.
