2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn , no ORP/Air ride....
Front Bilstein Part Number: 24-232203
Rear Bilstein Part Number: 24-233354
When doing this leveling is it necessary to do the rear? If So why?

You don't have to do the rear. It may be beneficial as the front and rear valving are likely matched to provide a specific ride quality. But I do not know that for a fact, just purely an assumption. Hopefully someone chimes in that has installed the rears and can give their opinion.

As far as I know, Bilstein still isn’t making 5100’s designed for the DT platform. Those part numbers are for the previous generation. Others claim they are okay, but I wouldn’t put them on my truck.

That’s incorrect they have been out and they are for “DT” platform.
I just installed them on my truck.

just the front. I did the 3.5” readylift kit but instead of using the pre load spacer I installed the bilstein shocks and it’s super smooth
Which setting did you set the shocks at with the 3.5 RL? Do you have the ORP? This seems like the ideal setup for ready lift.
Thanks

Yup, watching this thread. Purchased the complete set of shocks through my local 4WP store.
Already have the fronts in, but rears are back ordered.
