Hello all. I’m planning on lifting my truck 4”. And running either 20/10 -24 on 35’s or 20/10 -44 on 35’s. I know some have done it just wondering if anyone has experience and about how much trimming they had to do.

I am running a 4" BDS with 20x10 (-24) Hostile rims. Tires are 35"x13.50". Had to remove the factory mudflap in the front and do some very minor trimming. Zip tied part of the front fender well forward and it hasn't rubbed once. Love the look. I went with cheap chinese tires so the ride isnt quite what I was hoping but I will be going with Toyo's when I get these worn down. Hind sight, I would have just went with the better tires to begin with but with the lift, install, wheels, tires, power running boards, retrax pro and the cargo system to go with the retrax it was north of 10K so I thought saving $1,000 on the tires would be worth it with little difference. I was wrong.

Thanks for sharing these photos! I am looking at a 4 inch BDS lift and was hoping to fit 35s with a -24 offset for my ideal stance. Did you have to do a little trimming on the back inside fender to prevent rubbing? Also are these photos of the truck with solely the 4 inch BDS lift? How did you like the ride of the BDS? Sorry for all the questions. TIA

Yes I did a little trimming on the back side the fender. The BDS rides pretty much like stock. The tire choice is going to affect the ride more than the BDS lift will for sure. The photos are the 4” lift up front but only lifted 2” in the rear vs the 3” that comes with the bds kit

Thank you so much for the information! I am excited to start my build! My truck looks very similar to yours so I think the end result will be sweet!

Congrats, good luck!
Thank you! Sorry for another question. Did your truck come with the off road package sitting an inch or so higher than a stock truck? Or was it completely stock? I just want to make sure my truck will sit like yours. Mine is completely stock without the off road package. Thanks again

I’m sorry I just logged back in and saw this! No my truck doesn’t have the offroad package, it was stock standard height!
