Anyone got this setup? Preferably with a 2 inch level? Interesting in doing it and would like to hear personal thoughts from others with it.

That's what I ran before I upgraded. Bilstein 5100's Set at #5 and 285 75 18 Ridge Grapplers. They worked well for what I was using it for at the time. Very very nice on the road as well. You'll be happy.

That’s what I like to hear! Im going for road comfort and looks for the most part, my off-roading will be very slight and not the most often.

How do they compare to the 35's?

I tow my boat a good bit so my concern is not impacting towing/fuel economy more than necessary.

They essentially are 35s, they're just not the traditional 12.5" wide.

So you'll still be taking quite the mpg / power hit, any differences between that and a true 35x12.5 I would think would do more with the specific tire you choose (weight, tread design, etc.) than with the 1" less section width.

Though a narrower tire in theory can't hurt with MPG, only help, I bet the real world difference is negligible.

They are 34's and 11.26 inches wide. That was enough room to air down so you'll be good.

They're as shy of a true 35" in the real world as an flotation-spec 35x tire is, no?
34.8"? I know BFG KO2 35's typically show up around 34.4"
