Ambient Lighting

Just got this set of ambient lighting strip off of Amazon and after 15 minutes of installing(including Hard-wiring) the truck looks much better in my opinion.
Very impressive turn-over for less than $10 and 15 minutes.

When i bought the truck i installed my dash cam and an OEM RamCharger, to do that i added a fuse extender and a butt connector to one of the fuses (ACC-ON fuses), I think it was number 51..
With this one i just stripped some of the wire i installed before and attached them together.
The negative wire goes to the ground that's behind the plastic cover, left to the pedals, you can't miss it, it's a big nut with a bunch of black wires coming out of it.

I did it with my 2016 Explorer and with my 2019 Pacifica (R.I.P), Very impressive turn-over for less than $10 and 15 minutes.

You posted asking what we think because i hope you wanted honest feedback. Its looks cartoony like on the inside now imo. I weighed heavily on getting a S550 and 750i, and puta lot of weight into the ambient lighting on those vehicles as they simply look stunning. That illuminated string, just doesn't look like it belongs and the lines of the truck dont flow with that light string. The right side looks alright i guess, but the left side where it curves back around just looks silly to me. With that said, its not for me, and if you like it, im happy for ya. Just not my flavor.

Thank you for your honest feedback! I really appreciate it and I understand what you're saying, it is a cheap way to go and it shows.
I am waiting on those guys that made the ambient lighting for Limited to release their BH kit... we'll see what that looks like

I did it in mine as well. I like it, it does reflect on the side windows which makes it hard to see at night, but it isn't terrible. For 8 bucks and not having to rip the dash apart to change out what is there, i am happy with these. I did like the ones in my F-150 that you could change the colors and intensity on.
