Hello Guys,

I have a 19 limited that the ambient led stopped working yesterday in the rear doors and dash led strip... what can I do about it short of dealer and is this a common issue?

Thanks!

Also check that you don’t have dial #2 for the dimmer for the instrument panel all the way on bright, otherwise I believe it disables the ambient lighting.
It does disable the lighting but not part of it, it disables all of it. I think you are stuck heading to the dealer for this one. I cant imagine they are on different circuits and its a bad fuse but you never know.

Hi JC,
We're sorry to hear about this. Feel free to let us know if you decide to have your dealer address this and we'll gladly assist with that process.

Thanks guys, do you happen to have the fuse schematic to check that?

Thanks!

This is below the steering wheel right?

And there is only one fuse?
Yes, it was listed under the Internal Power Distribution Center:
"The Power Distribution Center is located under the drivers side instrument panel."

Hey, this has been an issue with these trucks. My passenger rear door AND glove box inner and outer lights stopped working. Dealer had to replace all of them.
So they all go out at the same time? Rear doors and dash?

Do you happen to know what is involved in the replacement?

My glovebox light still works when you open it though...
It's not necessarily the same go out on every truck. With that being said though, quite a few people have had the glove box lights quit working and I have seen others with door lights that have gone out.

Hi Ickabod, the F31 fuse does control the glovebox and other lights but does not do ambient on any of the doors, could another one do that?

Thanks!

That was the only one that mentions interior light. It might be one of the others that aren't specific.
