So I've owned multiple ram's over the years and the past 4 trucks I've owned. 4th gens and now this 5th gen. They've all shown signs of improper tire wear within 6k miles. Every one of them I've taken into get an alignment they've all been out a significant amount.

Is this something many people have experienced or am I the only sucker?

I have zero issues bringing it in for an alignment I just don't understand why it happens so soon.

I had the same issue on both of my 2013 and 2014 3500's. Didn't think it effected the 1500's but now you have me thinking I should keep an eye on tire wear.

My truck is booked in for an alignment Monday morning. I'll let you all know how much it's out of spec

I had to take mine in at 422 miles. It was pulling significantly to the right. When I picked it up the service manager just said it was slightly out of alignment. It has been good ever since.

Thanks for the responses! I'm not having any weird pulling, but my left front is getting some abnormal outer shoulder wear on the tire compared with the other 3. Taking it in to the dealer on Wednesday, just wanted an idea of what to expect.

Hi HKP7PSP,
We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing this. If you would like any additional assistance while your truck is at the dealer, please feel free to send us a private message!

the trucks are chained down to car carriers sometimes too tight. Just had 3.5" ready lift installed and the dealership messed with the alignment didn't check tire pressure and steering wheel not centered.

Interesting. Good to know it is something to be aware of. Did your dealers take care of you as far as the alignment with so few miles, or did you have to cover the cost out of pocket?

The dealer that I spoke to said as long as it's before 12 months or 12,000 miles, the Warranty will cover it.

I honestly took my truck to an alignment shop instead of the dealer. Can't stand them
