Hi all, I need help.

Tyres over here are limited so choice isn't great.

I am looking for a tyre that gives good mud performance but quiet.....

I think the goodyear duratrac is the only one here that gives the mud performance i need nd is relatively quiet , but the only size is 255 60 20. my 2019 sport has 275 55 20.

my truck is already a bit twitchy at the back, will narrower tyres result in calamity?

thanks all

I hate Duratracs. They're already noisy on my Rebel at 9k miles. Had them on a Gen 1 Raptor years ago and didn't like them much then either. They got super loud at 25k miles and didn't last long after that. I find them very squirmy in rain and snow.

The best AT tire out right now to me as far as looks and performance is the Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT. They are very quiet. Had them on my Tundra TRD Pro before the Rebel and lots of Tundra guys are running them with good results. I've turned a few F150 boys on to them as well.

No way I would go down to 255. 275 is skinny enough for this truck.

Can not get the coopers over here, they do the 4s sport not the xlt.

i have managed to find some 275 55 20, but again the duratrac

the big k02 don't seem grabby enough and are noisy even though they don't give mud grip

wrangler adventures seem to have a similar tree paternities to the big ko2 but have a lower noise rating, 71db v's 75db (over here the tyres are tested and noise recorded, daft i know as all trucks are different)

there are not many places over here that can advise on tyres for the ram. with the new 2019's being few i don't even know if i can fit 305 55 20 tyres on mine on stock wheels with no life or level (have a sport with air suspension and am not lifting it)

i hear 34" will fit but no mention of width
