I have a 2025 Ram 1500 Laramie SO and I have noticed the radio cut out a few times during driving sessions. It only lasts a few seconds and always comes back on. Anyone know what is causing this? Any fixes? Anyone experienced this issue?

I don't have a 2025, but I have had Sirius radio cut in and out a few times under clear skies. I always chalked it up to Sirius not the truck. Because it always stopped doing it. Sorry but I have to say it don't take it the wrong way but Sirius will cut out under some overpasses and such. I haven't listened to AM or FM in years.

You can reset by holding the volume and tuner knobs down to refresh it

I have the same problem, I think, but on my 2019. Most of mine happens at startup though or close to it. The whole radio just goes black and stops working. Like you said its not long and comes back on, but I don't believe it should happen. It's almost like a reboot of the system when it happens. I haven't found it consistent and definitely seems to be random, but it is annoying.

I even thought it was my Tazer, so I contacted them at one point and they said they've never heard of it.

I too would like to know if there's either a fix or just put up with it as I am.

We took a trip to Denver about a year ago and no problem with Sirius the whole trip about 2 months and then on our way home to California we lost Sirius up bye L A the wife called from the truck they tried stuff no luck and we don't use anything but Sirius came home parked truck and went out about 10 min later all good.( just a gremlin )

There are definite SW gremlins (bugs) in our trucks audio system. I have had horrible static in all audio sources that disappeared after turning truck off and back on after a while. I have lost all my radio station (Sirius) shortcuts out of nowhere. Had to reprogram those. The other day my phone wouldn't connect to the bluetooth. Looked at repairing but "Uconnect" wasn't shown as the truck source on the pairing screen. Turned truck off and back on after a while and was back to normal. I can't think of anything else. So if that's all that happens I can live with those one-timers.

is it happening with Apple CarPlay or just the radio?

I use Android Audio....I've noticed it happen using SirriusXM and Spotify. I can't remember if it does it with the radio but I dont listen to cradio much.

Does it happen in a certain spot? We live by a law enforcement training center and airport, and there are a couple of spots in my routes around them where I always drop. Phone. Satellite. Everything. Every time. Happens to others, so it's not the truck. I've resolved myself to it now.
🤷‍♂️

It's random spots but there is a spot in my town my connection does cut out every time....must be one of those sites.
