Hi Everyone,

The time has come. My 2019 Rebel is due for new tires after somehow squeezing 70,000 glorious miles out of the original set!

My question is the same as many other people have asked, what size can i run on the original rebel wheel with the stock non-air rebel suspension etc.

I had 37" Toyo Open Country M/T's in the past on my Wrangler and was thinking I would go with the same type of tire, just not the same size for obvious reasons! LOL

Anyone have insight on that specific tire on these trucks and what size to run? Would love to beef up the appearance without getting crazy

I’m am in same situation with my 2020 Ram Rebel. Need to new tires. And would like to know what others have done. Anything larger then the stock 32’s that fit with stock suspension and no air suspension

I was happy with the stock duratrac tire on my rebel so I decided to give the new duratrac RT in stock size a try. So far it is working well, winter has yet to arrive so no deep snow to test in yet.

You can most definitely run a larger tire on stock suspension, and even larger if you level the truck. I’m not sure how much larger unfortunately, but I’m sure someone can help.

That's amazing. I got 23K out of mine. Then I outfitted it for hard off road. I've had 40K on my Ridge Grapplers but I wouldn't recommend them in rainy or snowy places. But, good job on getting that much out of those tires.

Sasc....keep me posted on the RT's...gonna need new ones in the spring and looking at those and the KO3...cheers

I guess my question now is would the Toyo Open Country M/T looks silly in a 275/70R18?

no it won't. it's not like you're running 33s on 22s or 33s on 24s with -44 offset or something like that.

dang my stock duratracs only lasted me 4k miles before i got rid of them lol

Just wanted to follow up on this thread, I ended up getting a good deal on a new set of Nitto Recon Grapplers. Went up in size on the stock wheel and suspension. 295/70R18 and have no rubbing at all! I guess I didn't realize how bad the old set had gotten, the ride quality is night and day better and much smoother!

The other thing I'm starting to notice, is how much the front end seems to sit lower than the rear. Anyone have a 2" spacer type lift they recommend to fix this? Most everything I see online specifically says not applicable to Rebel models? I don't really want to spend $2,500-$3,500 on a whole coil over set up just to get the front end up a little bit!

Thanks again for those that chimed in above!(y)

I realize after some brief research, the spacer is not a very wise move. Any other options that wont break the bank to bring the front end up?

First, good on you for realizing the mistake before you made it. Many an unsuspecting young lad goes puck and pays the price. Bilstein or Eibach is the answer to your question. The Bilstein 5100's will give you your lift, a better ride, and save you long term damage for about $400 or so. UCA's will be an additional cost depending on which one's you go with if you decide to even go with them. Plus cost for installation and an alignment. You'll love it.

just adding... not just "young lads" put pucks and pay the price. i've dealt with a bunch of older ones swearing by pucks thinking it's the greatest thing to do on budget.
i mean... i'd totally root for pucks because i get paid every time i fix those but i'm better than that lol

It was meant to be funny. I understand posts often are not easy to gauge. But, of course you are correct. Anyone using pucks is most likely going to pay the price long term.

oh yeah i understand. people just don't learn to do things the right way despite countless examples of how bad it will be. sigh.

Just keep using a sharpie to make lines on the now bald tires.

I got the same mileage out of mine and for that reason. I replaced them with same tires.
