1. Randomly puts my phone on mute during calls.
2. Randomly produces static on all radio channels.
3. Randomly locks up on rear camera view and stays there
4. Can not search on navigation, its always offline

#2 and #3 I have to unplug battery to reset.

Good luck at dealer, please let us know the outcome as I am having the same issue as #1 and #4. Have not had any issues with the backup camera since last reset about 2 months ago.

Mine's at dealer also for UConnect (and dead battery). I don't have any of those. My issue, besides battery, is USB ports work randomly, connecting and disconnecting Apple CarPlay and music thumb drive. This has been ongoing since new. Can't believe how many issues people still have with UConnect. These trucks are almost two years old now. All these bugs should have been worked out by now. Sheesh...

I'll let you know what action or inaction the dealer does. I told them they should re-flash the thing at least.

Dealer said they used their system to reset my radio.

Heck I did that by unplugging the battery.

I dont know if its fixed, but Ill keep you posted. I have a nagging feeling its going to mess up again... I almost expect it to screw up

Called Ram Customer Care & Local Dealer. Asked for both of them to call me back about my issues. So far ... Crickets. NO RESPONSE.

I've emailed the Service Advisor of the local RAM Dealer (Nothing)
I've called the Service Department of the local RAM Dealer leaving a voicemail to call me back (Nothing)

I've sent another email to RAM Customer Care (Nothing)
I've called RAM Customer Care and they said they'll try to expedite it to a Specialist and they'll call me back (Nothing)

Can't wait to put all bad answers on the survey after service again. (Thats the only time they call be back quickly)

I got my truck back last week. They replaced the battery as they were finally able to confirm that it was failing. They did not figure out why. Guess I got a bad battery from factory.
CarPlay is still not working (but of course it did work while at dealer. I could confirm. As soon as I got close to my house USBs stopped working again  ).

Try a different USB cable and make sure your phone's port is clear of lint and debris. I've had problems in other vehicles all the while cussing the vehicle, phone, etc and turned out to be a bad cable.

Appreciate it but that’s not the issue. BOTH USBs go out and come back on at the same time... USB1 (phone) and USB2 (thumb drive).
It’s either component failure or software issue, not lint or debris.

Cheers,

Ah yeah, sounds like the USB hub is going out.
