We expect to hear EPA numbers shortly

Ram Trucks has confirmed that 2019 Ram 1500s equipped with the eTorque mild hybrid 5.7 Hemi V8 entered production last Monday. FCA says that we should expect the eTorque equipped Hemi trucks to be on dealer lots by the end of July with the eTorque V6 landing on lots in the third quarter of this year. That lines up with what 5thGenRams has been reporting with the V6 Pentastar equipped with the eTorque system beginning production in August. We expect the EPA to announce 2019 Ram 1500 eTorque MPG numbers soon, as even though consumer trucks just started being built there previously were some eTorque equipped trucks built which we are sure the EPA has got their hands on.

We have many forum members with eTorque equipped trucks on order and while some have now been built some are still scheduled. This is good news for people holding out for the eTorque as well as consumers with the eTorque on order. 5thGenRams hopes to get behind the wheel of an eTorque equipped truck as soon as they are available and will provide a full review.

Still wondering if that MGU will be capped in black or raw aluminum...pictures above vary! (Less important that how it will perform, obviously, but still something I'm curious about.)

Soon and shortly. How long is that? A couple days? A week? A month? A quarter?

Does it matter? The numbers will be released when they're released. Mind you the EPA is a government agency. ANYTHING involving a government agency takes time. Patience.....

Yes, usually we don't get the EPA numbers until the first trucks are in route to the dealers.

So 17/22 mpg for 5.7 4x4, That's about what we expected 10 percent, Now I can't wait to see the driving reviews.

Looking good so far. Anxiously awaiting @Jared B review when @BobbiBigWheels gets one in

Hoping this starts getting peoples trucks delivered and the people waiting can get their test drives and get to ordering them...or just buying one from the dealer

Yep...17/22/19 vs. 15/21/17...a 12% increase in combined fuel economy.

Now this would be a pretty cool mod....being able to get billet caps in various colors!
