Thoughts on capability. Numbers say yes but I am thinking I would need to upgrade to a 3/4 ton to safely tow this trailer. The payload would be cutting it close. I am rated at 1800 for my truck. I am sure ya'll will let me know if more specs are needed
I was looking to get rid of my tonneau cover and add a tool box. Was looking at this one. Not sure how it will look being so narrow. If someone has one of these could you please post a pic of it on your ram
Making first trip with travel trailer tomorrow. Tounge weight 650lbs. Setting up w.d. hitch. How much sag should I expect.? Does 2 inches seem about right
I have a new ram 1500 with 2000 miles on it. Today when I put on max ac it blew really hot air. Tried turning off and on several times, even turned truck off and back on a couple times but no change in temp. I also had a strange symptom on the Sirius xm where everytime I changed the channel I...
Has anyone put a 1 inch front level on their orp truck? Seems pretty simple. I am thinking it would make it look a little better but leave a slight rake for towing. Planning on 285/70/18 ridge grapplers for the tires. Anyone see any issues with this logic? I regularly tow a boat and a 26 foot...
For those who have E rated tires rated for 80 psi, what psi do you run for daily driving versus towing? I've always had 35 inch bfg ko2's E rated for 65 psi and I ran them at 50 psi at all times. This time around I'm not going with a bigger lift and 35's. All tire choices I'm looking at are 80...
My backcountry came without the 4 adjustable cargo tie downs by mopar. They said they would install them for free but said they need it for the entire day. I think I will try to do it myself to avoid hanging out at the dealer for 8 hours.(dealer is 2 hours away). Does anybody know how difficult...
Just got my new backcountry. It came with load range c tires. Would I need to change to at least a d rating to pull my travel trailer. Pics are of truck tire rating and label on travel trailer
My truck has been built and shipped as of 2 weeks ago. I have been trying to get the payload capacity by entering vin number on their website towing capacity search bar, but it doesn't recognize the vin. Am I doing something wrong?
Someone told me that you were not able to turn off your headlights at night when the truck was running. Is this the case and if so is there a work around
Just recently ordered a quad cab back country. I saw a couple of videos where they said the payload was only 1500 pounds. Does anyone know the payload for sure? I looked at ram website specs and it shows 4wd quad cab lone star rated at about 1,900,but there isn't any specs for backcountry...
