    Vararam Air Grabber intake installed

Install was easy as can be. Took all of 45 minutes including cutting the shroud. Vararam 's install directions show leaving the shroud off but to my OCD, it doesn't look "right". Haven't really driven it to give any feedback on performance yet.

    Back at it again

I gotta find that inch of lift I lost when I swapped over to the OEM struts. I'm at 1 3/4 lower in the front after putting the spare tire and OBA in the back of the truck.

Addictive Desert Deisgns Rebel bumpers coming soon

I've always liked the ADD product line and me and the wifey decided this truck was going to get a set of their bad **** bumpers. When ADD needed a guinea pig to do r&d for the new Rams, specifically the Rebel and them being based here in Phoenix, I jumped on the opportunity. Today I got a...

It's all done! Rebel with 6" RC lift

First I wanted to thank all the members who assisted me over the past week trying to figure out the suspension differences between a Rebel and a regular 1500. Besides the struts we had to get creative with some other odds n ends but we got it to work. So much RC and their b.s. that their 6"...

    Christmas in October!

It's going down Saturday morning. For those who have asked those are 20x10 Moto Metal Daggers with 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Along with the RC lift, I bought Bilstein front shocks for a Laramie. The the spring cups are 1" higher up on the Rebel shocks which I've been told then makes the...

    Back again with suspension clarification

My Rough Country 6" lift shipped out on Weds and I was browsing their webpage....they now state "Does NOT fit Rebel models" No my truck doesn't have air suspension so going in for round 2, what could be different from the Rebel versus the other models? Any solid or crazy ideas are welcomed...

    Cargo light switch mod

Hey everyone. I figured out how to make the cargo light turn on via a toggle or rocker switch. First is to figure out where you want to mount your switch. Go to your fav auto parts or electronics store and buy a switch that you like. Remove driver side sill plate and peel back the carpet...

    N-Fab nerf bars installed

Thank God for Amazon. Ordered Weds night showed up today. Gravy install, most time consuming part was running the die on the mounting studs on the underside. Ordered these in gloss to match the lower part of the gloss black on the truck. Next up......waiting for my RC lift to ship out.

Is there a major difference on the Rebel suspension???

I emailed Pro Comp to see if their 6" lift will work on my Rebel and get this crappy reply.... "Good Afternoon James, Unfortunately we do not manufacture any products for the rebel nor do we plan to in the future. We spend too much time and money on our research and development of each kit to...

    Chrysler employee/friend purchase vouchers

*** 9/10 update - In order to be fair to all those in line, I cant take on any new voucher requests. I have 42 people pending and we are given 6 per year, so Ive got to request more. **** It's going to be easier (I think) to update those who have emailed me about the pricing vouchers. A...

    Inyati sprayed in bedliner completed

Pix do this liner no justice. This isn't a body shop 2 coat and done job. This liner is thiiick and we splurged for the UV coating so if it fades in 10 years they'll touch it up. Very pleased with their work.

Onboard air install - - - final piece is here

I'm a kinda wing it type of modifier. I'll take stuff apart and engineer on the fly. Putting OBA was gravy on the old 2500 but this truck.....this is going to require some engineering feats. First off the spare tire mount has to go (I'm going to go with either a bed mount or mount it in our...

No ambient lights? No problem, 2 doors down 2 to go

Because I took the first Rebel the dealer had delivered, I got short changed on some options including ambient lighting. After a good 2 hours poking at wires with my multimeter I found what I was looking for. I used one factory LED location, inserted a LED by the interior door handle and upped...

    SPOD install complete

Removed the Spod out of the old truck prior to trading it. Figured might as well put it in the Rebel instead of it lying around and getting broken or growing legs and disappearing. Made some changes as far as mounting location from the install when it was in the 2500. Just waiting for ADD to...
