    Add an easy 10lbs of available payload

    Swapped my Longhorn’s factory equipped steel spare rim with an OEM aluminum replacement from a local salvage yard. $50 With the temporary spare mounted, the steel weighs 59.0. The aluminum 49.2lbs. It’s not much weight but it was an easy swap. Too much time on my hands I guess.

    First tow with the 2019

    Hooked up the camper and took a ride down to the the tire store. Trailer tires were 2 years old and 13000 miles. Not bad for a set of China bombs. Replaced with Goodyear endurance made in the USA. 30 mile round trip. The truck towed great. I would call it effortless compared to my old truck...

    No not talking about wine. Thinking about changing exterior cab lights to LEDs. Would you recommend red or white for the center mounted brake light? Any recommendations/links for what worked for you and is holding up over time?

    Off Road package = more payload/towing?

    Saw on another site that a dealer told a customer placing an order for a new truck that if he ordered the Off Road package the truck would have slightly higher payload (+30lbs) and towing capacity (+200lbs) due to the extra heavy duty shocks on the off road package.
