So, I got the front, and rear differentials, the transmission, transfer case, and a full synthetic oil change for $1500. He threw in a tire rotation. Seems like an ok deal. Back out to the desert this weekend.

I have two pieces of 1/4 inch hardened steel I need to drill one hole in each. I don't have a press. Just plain 'ol cordless drills. If I have the correct bit, can I drill through them or not? .30-06 M2 ammo cannot penetrate it so I'm thinking not but, thought I'd ask someone who might know.

First panel installed. Learning curve achieved. The other 3 panels should be easy tomorrow. Then I need to remove or mangle my heat shields so I can fit my 35 inch spare under the truck.

So I came out of the gym and my truck won't recognize my fob. Got my kid to bring me my wife's and it doesn't recognize that one either. Waiting for a tow to the dealer.
