    35 mpg avg over 869 miles. Truck has 4WD 90k GDE tune & 3.21. Truck is used commercially to pilot oversize loads. So this is mostly 65 mph HWY.

    6 mpg better than Hemi in C&G tests

    In 200 mile 75 mph hwy & local tests same gear same configuration the ED averaged 6 mpg better than the Hemi. Still would take 86,000 miles in their example to recoup the additional cost. If that’s the only benefit you took into account. Ram said elsewhere a tank of fuel should take it over...

    $3k over Hemi

    I think it was $2,600 over the Hemi when I ordered my 2014. Also read it’s about the same upcharge for the GM 3.0 diesel over the 5.3. Seems about right to me. What’s the Cummins over Hemi in an HD like $10k? Or the other brands Diesel engine cost over their gasser?

    Hey all great looking new forum. Briefly my scoop I bought a 14 Ram ED ended up contracting to deliver Airstreams then other TTs & boats taking them from the Mfgs to dealerships nationwide. Normally you would select an HD diesel but as I already had it and AS are only bumper pulls its worked...
