    Rear window surround crack.

What details do you have about airbag recall? Specific year? Build date range? I don't see one listed on the Mopar site. Just curious where you heard this and if my 2019 will be in the group? Thanks

    Totally Frustrated

I don't know if it was already mentioned in these comments but the loose grounds/power steering issue was one of 3 recalls on my 2019.

    Rear window surround crack.

Ok thanks. I'll be looking into this with both now that I know about it to see if I can get some clarity between now and the installation. Anyone else here concur with 2 years/unlimited on their new replacement rear window assembly? I sure hope this turns out to be the case since I'm only about...

    Rear window surround crack.

Ok thanks and will do. Were you able to get something in writing stating 2 years unlimited miles? Also was your dealer trying to say otherwise like my service advisor is currently doing? I wonder if he's just talking out his *** and doesn't know any better?

    Rear window surround crack.

I certainly hope you're correct! That's why I asked what you're basing this information on? Just so I'm armed with the correct facts in case I need to have it out with him.

    Rear window surround crack.

Thanks for the info. How do you know this is the case? My service advisor is telling me if the window is replaced under the 3/36 and then fails after the 3/36 expires it's no longer covered and I would need to seek assistance from the manufacturer? My window is awaiting arrival and scheduling...

    Rear window surround crack.

Does the window manufacturer back up these windows for a period of time in a scenario where the window assembly is replaced in the last month of a 3/36 standard RAM warranty then fails again shortly after 3/36 rendering it not covered anymore by RAM? Would the owner be out of luck if the same...

    Rear window surround crack.

Finally went in today for my crack/leak and they only took photo's of the crack to submit for approval to replace. I told them my own water test revealed a slow leak right where the crack is and they took my word for it. Does anyone know if the slider window assembly with defrost is readily...

My crack and leak is in that location.

    Rear window surround crack.

I have the crack and a very slow leak but any leak at all is unacceptable. Luckily I discovered this issue by reading posts here and truck was already being stored under a cover outside so no major intrusion or saturation. For eight bucks and easy try it might be worth a shot to avoid the...

    Rear window surround crack.

I too like to think outside the box when coming up with a fix but I'm not seeing how this would solve an existing leak? Water will most likely find it's way behind this wind seal product then find it's way to the water entry location of window leak. Nothing wrong with giving it a try for 8 bucks...

    Rear window surround crack.

I'm in the crack/leak club and luckily keep it under a cover and only verified the problem due to reading about it here. Thanks! Has anyone who's already replaced had a recurrence?

Do you know if the headliner had to be removed to replace the rear slider? This may have been covered already so sorry if I'm repeating a previous topic.

    Rear window surround crack.

Mopar site for warranty on page 6. F. When It Ends The Basic Limited Warranty lasts for 36 months from the date it begins or for 36,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs first. But the following items are covered only for 12 months or for 12,000 miles on the odometer, whichever occurs...

    Rear window surround crack.

Believe me I hope this is true and this leak issue should be covered either way. The only reason I aske is because there is a sentence in the warranty somewhere that I believe states 12 months for rear window? Maybe I got it wrong? Hopefully!

    Rear window surround crack.

Are they covering these replacements beyond truck being 12 months into warranty period? I read rear window is covered for 12 months but maybe since there's so many of these windows having problems they're covering them up to 36 months?

    Rear window surround crack.

Well it's official my July 2018 build date Limited has a rear window trim crack and water leak so it's time to let the dealer do their own water test and see what they say they're offering to do about it. I wasn't even aware so many folks were experiencing this until I read about it here. I know...

    Rear window surround crack.

Since so many of these rear windows are cracked and leaking does this mean the dealers are replacing these under warranty as a defective part even beyond the 12 months stated in the basic warranty? I just found the crack and only a few dried water drops underneath it on the glass. it will likely...

    Bed Cap wiring

It took me weeks to finally get this pretty useless reply pasted below from FCA on this very topic. The camper dealers have to now use a logic module that utilizes break light wiring but prevents the 3rd break light from flashing during signaling. Engineers really dropped the ball by deleting...

    CHMSL wire tap for topper

Great research on your part! Could you possibly provide the pin kit information/part #/manufacturer once you get to that point? I would definitely be interested in following your progress to completion as valuable information. Thanks. John
