Has anyone found or thought to look into a coil over conversion for our trucks? I’d be interested in a front conversion for my lowered 2wd. Obviously weight and payload capacity needs to play a role as I tow. But ease of adjustment and perfectly dialing in ride comfort would be nice.
I got something called super polysteel with my purchase out of Las Vegas. Anyone else get this? Has anyone got a second application? Kind of curious about its characteristics. Is it anything like a ceramic or a sealant on the exterior. I read that it’s also interior. Any input would be appreciated.
Crew cab 2wd, maxtrac 2/4 drop running 20x10 -25 vision bomb wrapped in 305/50r20 nitto 420s. Zero rubbing lock to lock (on flat ground) but it is super close. I love it. I have helper bags in the rear at 5psi now, thinking I may bring the front back up another .5-1” to make it more level...
I have a 2/4 maxtrac drop kit and looking for a nice wheel and tire set up with anywhere from a slight poke to a nice wide stance. Looking to stay with a 20 or 22 and 10 wides. Tire wise I’m looking at 305/45r22 or 305/50r20. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Picture for viewing pleasure and...
Anyone know if these would work for our new body style? My rear axle is only shifted forward slightly after the 2/4 drop. My left to right is good thanks to my adjustable trac bar. Now I’m wondering if I need these for the fwd to aft adjustment, put everything back in line, mainly longevity of...
Has anyone ever done the heater hose used as a spring isolator mod? Run some heater hose 1 full coil on the top and don’t use the isolator, which gives you about an extra 1/4-1/2 drop.
Installed my iboard steps today. 4”. I think it’s perfect. Not super big, but enough of a step for my wife and kids to use. 2/4 maxtrac drop kit arrived, just got to install it.
Alright ladies and gents, time for another opinion based thread. I just ordered my 2/4 drop kit, can’t wait to get it installed, and will also get some helper bags in the early spring when I go to start towing my TT again. My next big modification will be, in my mind, the perfect combo of...
So while I was looking at the belltech 2/4 drop, I decided to contact them to see if they were in works on a kit for 19. Still awaiting response, but it got me thinking. So I went to mopar parts and I came across some interesting information, it turns out the springs and shocks are the same part...
Looking for input on what y’all would think the most reliable (power) modifications would be for a daily driver and occasional tow pig. Any and all suggestions are welcome, and yes I expect to hear “just keep it stock, it’s plenty powerful”.
I’m looking for another alternative to a “perfect level”. I already have the 2” rear lowering springs, timbren bump stop replacements and have about 1 1/4” of rake. I don’t have the room in the rear to cut springs due to clearance of the timbrens. My thought process, now hear me out, a small...
Is anyone here with a 2wd and lowering springs running the timbren bump stop/load assist upgrade? The picture attached is my stock bump stop and it looks a little close like they won’t fit. Can anyone attest to performance and ride quality with and without a load.
Looking for input on a 305/45 tire upgrade for the 22” oem wheels, I have the Laramie sport package so if you have pictures of the set up it would be appreciated. I’m looking more towards an all season like nitto 420 or equivalent but wouldn’t be apposed to a mild A/T. She’s a pavement princess...
WDH/sway control hitch for a trailer that is at absolute max 7000lbs loaded. Is a hitch like Hensley/propride absolutely necessary or would something like an equalizer more than adequate?
100lb difference in hitch weight is kind of big deal when trying to figure out a TT for a family of 4 and...
