In my defense, I have been hit in the head alot over the years...though I'm pretty sure I put it in park. The only reason I say that is because I always set the parking brake before I put it in park.

Mine does that too. I figured its me as well. When I shut the truck off, many times, w/o thinking, my foot may be on the brake and it goes to ACC ? That was the only thing I can think of. A minor annoyance.

Ever consider it was intentional ?? Contrast....and considering it was deemed Luxury Car of the year running against a Mercedes S class, well, enough said.

ZF trans are German, I'd take that over FCA or the GM / Ford 10 speed too . BMWs have ZF trannys.
