I had the rear window replaced after I developed the dreaded leak. I'm giving it about a week and then I'll get it tinted. I'm fortunate I was in the last 6 months of my extended warranty.
Big shout out to securityguy for helping me with my dash cam install. I thought it would be simple to install a Viofo A119 mini 2, but of course, I ran into issues. Turned out I had a bad camera. Replaced it with a new one and now everything is working perfectly. I really appreciate this forum...
I was still under the 3 year warranty for this one so I couldn't say for sure. If you have an extended warranty you might just have to pay a deductible depending on your plan. I would say talk to the dealer and see what they say.
I'm happy to report I got the TSB done and I'm glad I did. The dealer gave me some push back, but I told them to make it happen. I was a little worried because none of the "advisors" really knew what I was talking about and they didn't know if they had performed the TSB before. They said they...
Sounds like they didn't do the TSB. I had it done with no push back and the sound has not happened again. Dealer service departments suck, but its odd they would push back over such and easy fix.
I'm taking my truck into the dealer tomorrow for the TSB. Fingers crossed they don't BS me. This will be my third attempt. First on was before the TSB so they told me to kick rocks. Second, they said my coolant was low and if the performance didn't improve after being topped off I could try a...
Put on some new shoes, Cooper Discoverer ATP II's. I went up a size to 275/60r20 and I only had to trim the inner liner on the front passenger side for a small amount of rub at full lock. Going into the dealer next week to get the Speedometer calibrated. So far so good, they feel great with no...
You might want to try a different dealer. I took my truck in and told them I would be happy to drive a tech around and reproduce it if needed. They told me they were aware of this issue and would perform the tsb, no questions asked. Worst case, insist a tech ride with you while you drive around...
Just checking back in. I got my truck back after getting the tsb and it's been perfect so far. I've driven it a few times now and I can say it's fixed. There is a right turn into my neighborhood where it would make the grinding noise every time and it's gone.
This has been a great thread, I read through a good amount, but not all, just being honest. So I think I'm set on getting the Blackvue dr750x plus. This will be my first dash cam and I had a few questions for the more experienced here. Sorry if these were covered.
1) I have Ceramic film on my...
That's what I was thinking too. I'm not sure if I'm confident enough to pull the trigger on either of these even with the return policy. People are buying them though lol.
The sides of the heat shield have about an inch gap. There's about half the space further up closer to the axle. There's also at least an inch between the tire and the back of the hitch. I'd say a 33 would fit no problem, any larger and you might have to adjust the heat shield a bit.
Added a "full size" spare.
Back story: I was visiting family last weekend about 100 miles from home. Sunday morning I woke up to a flat rear tire. Got my spare put on, but it was the 245/70r18 temporary use only spare. Long story short I didn't want to drive all the way home on it in the rain...
