Yes I did. I never start it up and put it in drive right away. It runs fine with no CEL lights

P1DF3 Code - dealer say will reset in 800-1000 miles??

Hey all... I recently replaced the battery on my 2019 Laramie with 53K miles. After replacing the battery all is well and starts fine with no CEL lights on the dash. As I live in an area that requires an every-other-year emissions e-check I stopped into the self test kiosk and the scanner...

Best way to seal 3rd Brake Light and Shark Fin?

Hello All. Yes, I know there's many threads on this but just as many opinions it seems. After being one of the "mine doesn't leak club" mine is now leaking. The headliner is not wet though the carpet on the passenger side rear is wet under the factory floor liners. I need to address this next...

How to find 12" XM Radio ID?

Hello All. Some time ago I had my screen and radio module replaced due to some issues I was having. After that my XM subscription expired as it was on a freebie demo and can't convert it over to my paid subscription as I can't find my radio ID. It used to be displayed when you tuned to XM...

Not sure if its good or bad I'm the only one who's seen something like this apparently?

12" UConnect system constantly reboots, freezes and displays weird graphics!

Hello All .... A couple of months ago my 12" screen starting acting weird with continual reboots, freezing and graphics issues making it totally unusable. The fix was 12" screen replacement as well as the radio module itself. All well was well for a solid month then the problems appeared again a...

Is it possible to add Blind Spot?

My truck is a Laramie and has the Blind Spot Monitoring which I made a must-have on my next truck after being used to it on my wife's 2016 Impala LTZ. To me, it's a disappointment as it seems to sense vehicles when they are already beside me. I'd think it's just mine but a friend just bought a...

What's the No. 1 thing that disappointed you the most about your truck ?

This is an easy question - fuel economy. After owning (4) GMC Z71s with 5.3 liters and 3.73 rears and an F150 with 5.0 and 3:55 rears I can safely say this trucks gets the worst fuel economy by fay than any 4x4 truck I've owned. I like it but it loves the fuel.

Lots of issues reported, curious who’s had no issues, major ones anyway?

I haven't had any issues with mine that aren't common to all 5th Gens - 12" screen various glitches, the tow mirror fiasco, the tilting feature in reverse tilts too far (design programming issue) and acts like the gears are stripped when trying to return to the normal position. Solution for...

Can Blind Spot option be added to Big Horn trim after delivery?

Quite honestly I'm disappointed in mine. The blind spot illuminates just as a car is AT my back bumper but no further. In my wife's 2015 Impala LTZ it illuminates when a car is perhaps a car length back and although I would never do it, you could change lanes according to the Blind Spot (BLIS)...

Has anyone swapped out the Bighorn gear selector for the Limited one?

I'd like to trade them both for a mechanical shifter lever like most\all of the competition uses. I don't find the rotary knob to be very truck-like or manly. Seems very Asian SUV like to me and I've been slow to adapt to this setup catching myself reaching for the big round radio knob or vice...

Replacing my TOW mirrors with Power Folding - 10% Cyber Monday

Like others I am contemplating replacing my tow mirrors for standard mirrors. Main reasons are the truck BARELY fits in my garage with the two mirrors and mainly because they are so large they actually present a hazard in terms of blocking my view of traffic to my left. These things are so large...

Any way to browse large music volumes on the 12" uConnect?

Quite honestly, the uConnect 12" system has been a disappointment. This problem (well known), coupled with the phone problem where you need to transfer, then transfer again to keep calls from dropping (well known), the laggy-ness (well known) and the searching offline issue for the navigation...

Any way to browse large music volumes on the 12" uConnect?

I rented a car last week for work for a drive to Chicago and brought along my USB stick to try it in another non-Chrysler vehicle. Quite miraculously, all folders and songs were recognized with the count matching iTunes precisely with 1,187 folders and 14,482 songs. I've tried NTFS and FAT32 as...

Any way to browse large music volumes on the 12" uConnect?

There was a folder at the root level (mediamonkey) however removing that made no difference. I can now see artists thru "T" and 1,2,3 …. Of approximately 15,000 files I can see just below 12,000. Not sure what to try next as I've used NTFS and FAT32 formats and Windows file copies as well as...

Any way to browse large music volumes on the 12" uConnect?

I bought the same tiny drive suggested above but in 256gb. I tried NTFS but had missing folders and files. My library is very large, something over 20,000 songs and not even sure how many folders. The UConnect 12" reads the drive fine but the Browse functionality shows A-E, and 1,2,3 and nothing...

Any way to browse large music volumes on the 12" uConnect?

Thanks, I ordered the same drive you suggested. I'm anxious to see what the navigation for the drive looks like.
