I had the dealer check the exhaust but it all looked good. It doesn’t bother me anymore or I’ve just gotten used to it. But mine is definitely exhaust related and the feeling is like holding an electric shaver. Most pronounced at 2K rpm and under slight acceleration.
What about exhaust drone? That can cause high frequency vibration in the floor and steering etc. and get worse in cold and under acceleration at certain RPMs. My 2019 Classic has it a bit.
I can tell you my F150 had it. My 2016 factory ordered Lariat had a driveline vibration that I chased for 4 years. 3 driveshafts, rebuilt rear diff and several tire balances later and never got resolved. Ford basically gave up and left me hanging.
I ended up trading for a new 4th gen Ram...
Ram must be taking some pointers from Ford. My 2016 F150 had terribly misaligned doors from the factory. Dealer couldn’t fix it so I did it myself. Also found that the hinge bolts were not torqued to spec and were a bit loose.
I’ll just also chime in to say that all makes/models have issues. I had a 2007 Tundra that was constantly in the shop for all kinds of things. Biggest problem was the front differential kept vibrating and making a whirring sound. They replaced it 3 times but it still was an issue.
I...
This is the worst one I’ve ever seen. Definitely some sort of rust proofing is wise in the salty regions. I’m in southern Ontario. Krown and Rust Check are quite popular here.
