Agree that the wheel gets hot. However, I have poor circulation and arthritis so it feel great. Once truck interior is warmed up I turn off seat and wheel anyway. Their job is done.
Mopar parts overstock will have tow hooks by June 1. That's according to c/s. Having said that, Chrysler has just jacked up the price on chrome hooks by $26.00 apiece. Bastards.
To further clarify, my Ram is a 2019 Bighorn crew 5.7 hemi 4x4 with tow package and level 2 equipment group. I don't like or have leather seats but it has all the toys I wanted and I am extremely happy with it. I did not expect to get good gas mileage. That's not why you buy a truck is it?
I'm 6' 2'' weigh 260. I do NOT fit in a Tacoma. Tundra is aging ugliness. New style next year I believe. Tahoe is ugliness personified. On the other hand I have a 2019 new body style RAM 1500 with 5.7 hemi that makes me absolutely smile every time I get in the thing. I love my truck and so will...
Check your state laws for window tint percentages allowed. e.g. Wisconsin allows 35% on rear and rear side windows. But 50% on front side windows. On windshield no restriction except to AS1 line.
Softest setting. Roads are absolute crap in Wi. On middle setting is too firm for my “not aggressive“ driving style. Still a big difference from oem sway bar and I am very happy with Hellwig.
I need to put food on the table and pay my electric bill so I don’t get cut off. Apply some to rent backlog. God bless Mr. Trump for taking care of us old folks. He’s a genius you know.
3 hours ago I was enjoying washing my 2019 bighorn crew 4x4 5.7 hemi.only 9700 miles at the car wash on a nice 50 degree day and then at the push of the starter button my day turned to s**t. The engine started but immediately went to high rpm and stayed there. I cut the engine and tried again...
I’m still pissed and always will be about no heat no folding tow mirrors. Caveat emptor. This is only issue with my Bighorn. It is a early build and I lucked out. No problems at all. I love driving this truck.
Yesterday I decided to have windows tinted. Legal tint in Wisconsin is 50% on driver and passenger and 35% on rear. I did not want to contribute $175.00 to the city coffers if a law enforcement official decides to play with his or her light meter instead of doing something useful. Soooo, I...
I was going to use Moog end links with the Hellwig but they are not much thicker than stock. So Is it necessary to use beefier end links? Sway bar still on soft setting and enjoying improved ride.
Just made the switch to Hellwig sway bar. Left it on soft setting. I'm delighted so far. The roads here in Wisconsin are absolute crap with constant freeze thaw cycle chewing up the blacktop. Truck seems firm over the bumps but not a harsh feeling. It is a definite improvement over stock. :)
I got conned by Ram over the non heated non power folding tow mirrors. And now winter is here once again. I love my truck except for those mirrors. No other issues. But I will always be pissed off about the mirrors. I will go to a Ford in a couple years when I can afford it. I think GM trucks...
Lotsa threads on this. I’m still very pissed off with my dealer and Ram on this. I really don’t want to spend another dime on my truck. The whole buying a new truck experience was ruined right there. In 2 years when I can afford to, I will trade In for a different manufacturer. F*** you RAM.
I installed Lund Vigilante Smoke bug deflector. I like this one because it has a turned up lip so theoretically, the air flow should be higher maybe over the windshield. Only a wind tunnel will prove this so we will see how it works. I hate the 6 plastic clips provided. The thread strips out...
