I’m not a huge fan of the OEM tow mirrors. In their standard setting, I think they stick out really far for Daily use, and I find that I never flipped them up into the “moose antlers” because it’s just annoying to have to always reset the small mirror every time I flip it back into the regular...
I’ve only recently started having the dealership take a look at it. This last visit they said they found the weights on my wheels were connecting with the caliper so they rebalance all of my wheels.
Obviously, that wasn’t the issue, but at least it’s one less thing they can claim
I WISH it was that simple hahaha like many others it definitely is coming from the driver side either along the frame or in the suspension somewhere. It primarily happens when it’s wet, which is different from most folks though.
Im still searching for the right psi for these ascents. Had them at 38, then found out about the difference in weight rating between E and P rated tires. So i pumped them up to 52. They run fine but are rough like an e rated tires is expected to be. So i just dropped to 46psi, well see if I can...
I got the the ones from the part number on the first post that I assume are the TRX ones. 🤷♂️ i’m still not sold that that is what mine is either but I’m willing to give it a shot. I still have the suspension max and links. I just haven’t bothered putting them on.
Ive been using my tomtom maps more and more, saves my phone a lot of juice. Honestly my only two gripes are that updating it is cumbersome and I haven’t successfully done it yet. Also that i cant change or alter my destination while driving. There is no override or passenger interaction...
Installed the banks pedal monster. Straightforward installed process and I have it set to city three which is a notable improvement in acceleration. It definitely takes that lag out of the pedal, which is all I was after. I also used the OBD splitter linked below to clean up the install, so I...
This attention to detail is fantastic. I’m neurotic about maintaining the entire undercarriage of every vehicle I own, including the step mounting hardware. The hardest thing to do is the mounting bolts 🤦♂️ I end up just taping around them if I have to, so I don’t hit the body and spray, rust...
Helwig rear sway bar set to the middle hole so it’s just slightly stiffer… takes a lot of of the body roll out and makes driving just infinitely more enjoyable

I honestly think that most things labeled as “fuel saving” I really just gimmick that give the placebo effect. And if any of them provide any real legitimate fuel savings, it’s a negligible or only really even measurable over a very long distance. The ET system was definitely just an EPA block...
They look like a cheap china walmart tire with the siping only going maybe half way down the tread block and just straight line cuts. Id look at the ko3 / dueler AT ascent / wildpeak AT / kenda AT over these. With weight being a concern you could also look at the firestone destination AT if they...
