The Hemi without etorque does not have stop/start so there's no way to compare that on a Ram 1500. I will say that on the two trucks I owned with etorque, the stop/start operation was very smooth. With the stock exhaust I often couldn't tell when it shut the engine off unless I looked at the...
Those things are only a gimmick if they are not useful to you. Etorque is useless to me so I would agree with @CHeYeNNe71 in saying it's a gimmick.
Ha yeah I'd say you definitely get that. Our 2020 Limited was down for three months waiting for an RF hub which the water coming in the leaking...
Agreed. I didn't dispute the fact that there are likely hundreds of thousands of etorque trucks that haven't had issues with that system. But that is little comfort to anyone who has had a failure with the system and they're waiting for weeks for a replacement part, even if it's only one or...
Like I suggested, read through your extended warranty contract. There are many different warranty plans offered by Ram. So @RamCares can't tell you whether or not it's covered under your specific contract without knowing exactly which one you purchased. The only warranty we know would cover...
Simply put, it's overblown to you because you haven't experienced any issues with it. To those who have had issues with it I'm sure it's kind of a big deal. It was for my daughter, who was without her truck for over two months when the 48v battery module failed. I've owned two trucks with...
It's not likely that your extended warranty will cover this. Most of them do not cover soft interior items. But you can read through your paperwork to verify that. Everything that is covered is spelled out in the fine print.
It's not surprising to me that the selling dealership told you it...
Since you have no leaks you could try picking up some adjustable suspension links. Stock suspension links are fixed, but with adjustable links you could tweak the suspension height at each corner. There are many different companies making them, and you can make your own as well. Here’s one...
“Notchy” feeling steering can be an indication of a worn or damaged steering rack. How many miles are on your truck? We’ve owned three 5th gens and none of them felt notchy at all.
It's not just the Limited. Longhorn, Limited, and Tungsten all have leather covered dashes. I'm not sure about the RHO since I've never seen on in person.
Agreed. I’ve got a ton of experience with winter driving, including many rwd late 60’s and early 70’s American cars. It’s the people who are only here to go to college that worry me. Many of them are from parts of the state that get very little snow, or other countries where they didn’t even...
Of course you did. But everyone here knows you’re perfect. Maybe if I lived in a flat state like Nebraska I wouldn’t have needed the extra weight to make it up some of the mountain roads I drove back then.
@-RotorDemon- , my apologies for taking this thread off topic.
Haha I guess that makes me a weirdo :ROFLMAO:
I won’t defend those who end up in the ditch. Too many people don’t know how to drive in winter, and don’t understand that having 4wd does nothing for you when it comes to stopping or cornering under low traction conditions. :ROFLMAO: But my...
Maybe remove the excessively dark tint and have the windows retinted lighter? I’ve hade a couple vehicles with 5% limo tint and hated it. I had to roll down the windows to be able to use the mirrors at night. Had the windows retinted to about 25% and it solved my problem.
From the pics I’ve seen it’s going to have the same hood badge they’ve been using for years on etorque Hemi’s. I haven’t seen much in the way of replacement badges but you might check over on eBay...
