A Canadian vehicle only has warranty if it is registered in Canada. If registered in the US, no warranty at all. You may be able to buy an aftermarket service contract.
So you must have bought the radio module and the screen with the trim panel. Where did you buy these parts or did you just wait it out for parts to appear at salvage yards. I am expecting about $1500.00 to do this. Is this close.
mike_ct is correct. The problem is when you attempt to update a new rf hub with the required info supplied by alfaobd to the bcm, the first thing that happens is you are required to connect to witech, which then imports the stock vehicle info at FCA database for your Vin and sends it to the RF...
I added ceramic resistors to my infinty 3032 front speakers to more closely match original resistance. This helped with the speakers in the dash being too loud. Uxcell 10w 4 ohm ceramic cement resistor. Not perfect but better than it was.
The problem with this recall is it is not vin specific. When the writer pods your car for write up, it never shows up as a recall tied to your vin. So he thinks you do not have a recall. If you have a step, they need to inspect it to see if it is cast iron. If not, no recall. If it is cast iron...
Yes that update was pushed. But the real problem with those vehicles was the idiot shifter design. It was hard to know when you were in any gear. Total idiot design.
Find a shop that knows how to do alignments. There are usually 2 reasons for your problem. Tire pull which can be verified by switching tires side to side. Or an alignment tech with no clue. Remember that road crown can be an issue. On a flat surface it should go straight with a straight...
I have a suspician that either the step had to be reinstalled or possibly all the superceded numbers were due to the step hitting the exhaust on retraction. A lot of times car parts are superceded due to vendor change or there could be an issue like reports of the step hitting the exhaust. I...
These complaints of the bed step hitting the exhaust on retraction. Are these the dealer installed units or from the factory. If they are dealer installed or Mopar kits, do you know which model number they are. That part superceded so many times, I wonder if the recall number fixed this issue. I...
My only issue is it sits on the carpet protector. I have the factory slush mats installed. May be a problem. Where did you buy yours. Amazon has them for $168.00 delivered plus Tax
That is currently correct. The code needed GXD is not on the list under Vehicle Option Updates. The issue is if Mopar Accessories came out with a kit for this, they would need to add that code to the option list. This is really not a hard upgrade. I do not know if a request could be made to...
I can tell you the difference is very obvious. It is completely different in the way it is made where it attaches to your trucks frame. The bottom part you step on is unchanged. as are the hinges. The top section on the new unit is stamped steel welded together as opposed to the original one...
The current information I have is even if you add all the hardware for the proximity entry, it won't work even with a new RF Hub. The problem currently is you need sales code GXD added to your truck. FCA does not want to do that for whatever reason. If we could get them to add that code to your...
