I suspect you may be connected to the wrong body computer. If you are connecting to a 2019 Ram 1500 DT new style, it appears you need to choose 2019 Ram DS first. Then BCM. Then the next screen gives you 6 choices for 2019 Powernet. 2 are for DS old style truck and there are 4 versions for 2019...
You are doing the update incorrectly. You need to be in the pacifica bcm to do the update. It is not available in the ram itself. That is probably why it is showing as unavailable. Read 309 very carefully. I followed it exactly and mine worked perfectly.
They are in the FCA service manual which is available to FCA techs. It is online these days so it is constantly updated. That includes wheel alignment specs. Once you have the alignment, post a copy of the printout. I only need to see the raw numbers, not the graphic pictures. Post what you...
You did not need to shim the front speakers to clear the windows. The reason I ask is because the specs say the depth is 3 1/4 inches. Seems pretty deep. As long as they fit, I want to buy these. Not many options in the 6x9 for front doors.
If you get a copy of the latest wheel alignment read out for front and rear alignment, send it to me PM. Maybe I can help. I need numbers from the alignment. The graphics don't really help as those are based on the specs in the machine used. Sometimes the listed specs in the machine are not...
The 4 items needed are alfaobd, a windows laptop with bluetooth enabled, the gateway bypass module and the interface module plugged into the obd connector such as...
This is just the bypass module. Works perfect to bypass the gateway. You still need a obd adapter and software like alfaobd to do whats needed. Everything is in this thread.
If you buy the Mopar extended warranty before the truck exceeds 12 months or 12000 miles, the plan is usually about $200.00 cheaper. You can verify that will Zeigler. At least that was the way if was in the past.
Yes I know. It is because a non Nav truck bcm is looking for the all in one unit which the non nav is. The others are 2 piece. Should have thought about this before I posted.
Did you have any issues with screen not coming on.
I did this exact procedure non Nav 8.4 to 12.1 Worked perfect with the correct cables of course. Added cellular antenna and wifi/bluetooth antenna. All works. Now if we can get a similar trick to get passive proximity entry to work.
WE are hoping that somehow FCA will let us add the sales code for the passive entry. Everything else is straight forward. I would complain when you get a survey from FCA. Maybe it will help get Mopar accessories to come up with a kit which will allow the needed GXD code to make it work. The only...
If that is the FCA number, those clips are crazy expensive. What did you use. I am thinking some generic plastic square push in socket type nut similar but smaller than a license plate retainer nut
Did you install clips in the dash to hold the module into the dash. Think I saw there are square holes there to accept some kind of clip for screws to install into to hold the module in place.
The biggest issue with all of this is getting the sales code GXD added to your option list. A lot of options can be added and the codes are added by the dealer. This option so far is not available to be added. The hardware part is easy. You need 2 door handles, 2 door handle caps, an RF Hub...
