@HSKR R/T Good call. Since I have a (UPDATE) UAV (8.4 4c w/NAV), I THINK I can use this one here:
https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/how-to-update-uconnect-8-4-via-usb-drive.83299/
Anyone have a 8.4-QR-39.6 or a 39.7 version?
Yeah, nope, UAQ versions wont work for me.
Does anyone have links or contact me about update files for 8.4 UC4 systems? I have a 19' that is on v22.32.10 (22.66.0 App ver).
Looking for several 8.4 versions to get to 39.7.
Looks like if it follows the 12" versions, then i need a 28, 34, then a 39.7?
Ugh, so I need to find the 34.2 version first, then 39.7 or higher. I haven't found any good links yet, still searching for the 8.4 screen versions.
Nope, I need a whole slew of versions... I can't find anything for the 8.4 screens.
If you don't want to pull the center console, I'm not sure how to check what's under there to see if you can make holes to route your CB cables to the rear.
Anyone have pics of the center console pulled?
There might be room if you put it under the piano swicthes/tow control and make a custom bezel/3d print something for that space. You could put it there, def make the install easier, but will it fit with the cables in the rear (bottom here)?
Ok, since I was impatient, i bought AlphaOBD yesterday. ha!
Went in to Alpha and Car Configuration under the BCM and set:
CBC Features: Configuration Aux Switches PTO-SIX SWITCHES
LIN & Misc: ASBM Present - YES
CustSetMenu 1: Auxiliary Switches CSM Present - Switch 3-6 Option
All switches...
You'd have to pull the center dash/radio section to get stuff to it like antenna, power, etc (to the center console/armrest area). That part is actually SUPER easy to pull. Two screw up top and all the rest are pinch clips. Undo screws and give it a yank. Once that is loose, you can see all...
Yep, mine usually is between 69 and 72. I also have a 19', so wonder if there is a TSB to have the climate controls reprogrammed, I'll have to look. My Durango and my GrandC work just fine.
Yep, I can set it manually.
@mikeru82 , yep, it's bad in the summer when I just have flip flops on or if I'm only wearing tennis shoes in the winter, blows right on my ankles.
Such a nit-pick, but damn I have been annoyed by this since i got the truck in 20'. The drivers side lower vent blasts on my ankles when climate control is on auto. Middle of summer, blasts my ankles. Dead of winter, and of course on startup, the blower goes to max hurricane force winds...
Thanks @Jimmy07 , I went into the BCM settings itself, it's missing it. Now I'm not sure if it's missing it or just locked out from that 19' model year in jscan. I'll email them, damn, the first time its failed me, haha! I loaded up the demo version of Alpha and found where it was and could...
Did anyone get these working correctly with Jscan yet?
I got all 6 buttons appearing to work (not plugged in my pigtail so cant validate the ground lead activation yet).
I can also sent each button in jscan to momentary, and that works as well according to the light buttons.
After some...
Added more details if you want to build your Fuse/Relay box with mini-relays, and mini-fuses in Post #4 above. There's some really great units you can build and customize to just how you want it, even larger (or smaller) if you want. Little Fuse and GEP have some great products.
