I've always been curious. What's the extra benefit of the Obdlink MX+ ? What are you getting for $140? I spent $32 on Amazon for both the bypass cable and a bluetooth OBD2 reader. It works perfectly with AlfaOBD and Torque.

One day I noticed the little icon for the open tailgate was on. No matter how many times I closed my tailgate. Then I remembered I pushed the button on the LED bed lights in the back. Once I pushed the button again, the open tailgate icon went away. Don't ask me why.

My 2021 Laramie had the sensor and it was listed in the build sheet, but the tailgate ajar warning was not activated. I used AlfaOBD to enable it.

We had Buick station wagon with the seats facing backwards. I don't remember seats belts :ROFLMAO:

In my 3 years of ownership, I've never waited for my power side steps to pop out. There are instances that the retraction was delayed somehow. I would hear it retract while I'm already driving down the road.
