Yesterday, I added a bead of silicone in this small channel. After looking really close, it looked like maybe there was a gap in this channel compared to the right side. So now I've got a new gasket in brake light, silicone around shark fin, flowable silicone in the channel right above the...
We had gentle rain this afternoon and sure enough, still a leak, even after using the Permatex. I went ahead and added some more but not sure it’s going to work.
It’s not coming from the brake light. I replaced the gasket and when I took off the light again today, there’s no evidence of water...
I just replaced the seal with the auto weather stripping from Lowe's and I still have the same leak. Ran the garden hose over it to simulate rain. Prior to replacing the seal, I ran a bead of silicone right above the window. Not sure what else to do at this point but take it somewhere. I'm...
I'm past factory and have an extended warranty but its a pain to deal with. I was just thinking if I could do something myself, might be easier. I do have the crack and have a little water seep in when it rains (rare in West TX) but almost always during a car wash.
I have some foam that is...
@RamCares This seems to be a common response from the dealer. I had the grinding very consistently since I bought the truck with 29K miles. The dealer could never get me in so I waited and waited. By that time, I needed new tires so I got them and the noise went away. I know this is temporary...

The flange doesn't look great. Its got some rust on it as well. He said it would be quicker and easier to add a pipe in between rather than trying to get the rusted bolt out of the rusted threads in the flange.
Took it to an exhaust shop this morning and showed them my issue. He said he's going to just put a piece of pipe in between and weld it together, otherwise may have the same issue later on. Told me it would be $75. Dropping it off Thursday morning.
Throwing in the towel, can't get the rusted bolts to budge and I don't want to do any damage. I'm going to take it to muffler shop in the morning and have them do it.
