how often do you go full droop? catch air?
tbh 60k miles on the setup is quite good already, i'd go with stock CV unless you're catching air or full drooping a lot. i mean if the stock length is not good for your application yours wouldn't last 60k lol
oh and the tree limb was the hood and A-Pillar light.
i was going way fast on the trail and didn't see. tree branch hit the hood and my A-pillar light at like 60MPH. good thing the 6 years old Baja Design squadron and new SDHQ mount held up their ends and protected the windshield. No damage on...
oh i did wash it before i touched it up so I could see what I was working with lolll
basically a rinse, foam, 2 bucket, rinse again. i didn't care much about the paint because if I chase that paint perfection there'd be no end to it hahaha
my first "damage" was a tapped bumper at like 3K miles...
it was a hidden road post/ reflective marker thing hiding inside a bush lol
that's the only damage, aside from all the pin stripes on the paint (which i don't care about because they only show when truck is caked in dust). this one was kind of visible even without dust on truck and it did went...
#goodasnew
I did pick an angle that makes it really visible lol but still better than the "before":
I only did it to prevent further paint chip or rust. by no means this is a professional job (body work and paint are not my expertise)
oh yeah if i had the patience to take the bottle out and didn't already have the dealer deliver new bottle already hahaa honestly for under $50 for the bottle that comes with new sensor and new pump I can't complain ahhaha
at 11PM:
looked at my leaky washer bottle to see if it's a loose connection causing the leak or a crack on the bottle. Couldn't see anything. Determined if I was gonna take the bottle out to check I might as well just replace it.
Started to take apart the front, then 15 minutes later as I got...
you will be fine with 295/65/20. it roughly translates to 35x11.5R20. Will fit.
You may need to do some trimming on the plastic liner with 2", which is no big deal either a heat gun/ torch OR a blade will work just fine. If you go offroad and drive aggressive or do aggressive stuff, read my...
stretch before doing work and stretch after doing work.
that's how the Japanese do it and that actually helps them preserve the elder master techs!
(hell, that's one thing I need to do too...
ah we're the same.
travel > sky high ride height.
crawling or mountain trails or desert trails, when it comes to IFS the basic ideas are the same. 3" is max and you lose some travel, 2" is ideal and you get the most travel. Sky high ride height only makes your truck look like a 2500 wannabe...
Kai is a good source for suspension stuff as he tests them out and you explained it very well.
but ignore his electrical videos lol those have false info in there.
now that is wasting your breathe on that kid lol
he's mad because we've called out spacer lifts before (which is exactly what he runs) and his feelings are hurt.
oh hahahaa
fuh sorry i thought you were planning on doing it in the beginning. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
but yeah it still stands, the CV is the concern going too much. hell at 41" fender to ground when i was squatting the CV angle was already too much for me and that's equivalent of like 4"...
