Tow mirrors flip up for a wider view behind when you have loads you cant see around with standard mirrors. On half tons tow mirrors are manual fold (for now).
In conditions like wet roads snow mud etc Trucks without anti spin send all power to the tire with least amount of traction though design, Anti spin (in the rams) uses clutches so when more traction is needed both tires are locked together but when not needed still functions like an open...
Good to know they’re over here now. Will have to finally go and see one in person if there’s any at a closer dealership to me. It is a little odd to get the smaller tank but I guess with the amount of people using them more as family vehicles it would be more feasible.
I find it interesting they disable tow haul mode and lock the truck to 9th gear. Seems pretty dangerous especially on a grade like the Ike Gauntlet. Forces you to use the brakes which could cause over heating and possibly loss of braking and then you have no engine power to slow you down.
I agree the manual would be awesome behind it, with the automatics the 6 speed does fine and the trucks are still pretty quick but I think the 8 speed could make a lot more out of the power
