I de-badged my 3500 Laramie Cummins when I had it before my 1500 Limited. Too much clutter for me.
Then, I took some of the badging and re-badged it spread out on the doors.
I liked the look!
I must be old. I’ve been using a great touchless car wash for about 20 years. I have a membership to one that they’ve grandfathered my price through many price increases. $30 per month CAD ( about $20 USD) unlimited washes (well not quite unlimited….1 Wash per day 30 max per month). Without a...
Personally, I only de-badge what I don’t like. ie: Dealer tags.
Not a chance would I want anyone to think my Limited might be a Bighorn even for a second! LOL 😎.
(Not that I have anything against Bighorns or any other model)
I find you have to keep them clean and well greased up or they get stiff as hell..
They catch a lot of road debris like water, mud and snow being in line behind the rear tire.
Been there...Done that.…again!
My daughter is finally moving out this weekend after her second return home. Fast forward 4 years later...at 26 years old!
While she was home she paid off her car, paid off her credit cards, went to New York. Lived the life of a social butterfly. Love her dearly...
I have the Ram box extender which also acts as a box divider. Sitting in my basement of course. But I simply cut a 2x6 and slide it down into the slot provided on each side. I use it to hold my sandbags from sliding around in winter.
Then I’d have 2 things to clean.
It’s a truck. I ride in the front and haul stuff in the box. No need for cushy carpet back there. But that’s just how I role.
When I look into the box of my truck and see what my Line-X coating looks like just from dust gravel roads and periodic water from rain or the car wash that gets in even with a cover, I’d cry if I had a bed rug.
For me, it’s way easier to clean out periodically with a broom and my pressure...
Don’t we have an in-line fuel filter outside of the gas tank? I haven’t had to work on my trucks for about 25 years as they have always been new every 3 years or so, but I remember my older vehicles having them. I also remember my Dad telling me never to run my fuel down to E or below 1/8 tank...
In 🇨🇦, the roadside speed cameras in unmarked vehicles were deemed illegal. I’m not sure how the red light/speed cameras got their way back into existence.
The buggers! I got nailed the same way. Red light/Speed Cam.
Not just once, but again at another intersection 2 blocks further down the road.
Between the two, It wasn’t cheap!
Let’s just say, I didn’t buy any truck mods for a while!
I have a dash cam now that alerts me of upcoming camera setups.
Are your plug wire connections to the side screws or the push/quick connect on the back of the plugs? I never recommend the quick connects on back.
I’ve also seen where a screw or nail went through a wire in a wall that eventually arched enough to fail.
just thinking outside the box.
The MX+ reader works on a multitude of different scanning formats and depending on which, can work with either iOS and Android.
