I’ve done this hundreds of times. Sometimes 2 at a time!
I’ve given up using the ramp tie back straps. Pain in the lower posterior.(butt)
Snowblowers are always strapped down with ratchet straps.
I’m too old and lazy to do any paint correction or waxing. I just get it looked after when I get my local guy to do my spring detailing. At my age, my eyes wouldn’t tell the difference between what I get done and paying someone $1800 to ceramic coat.
So far, my truck hasn’t complained.
I got a stone chip on the highway and by the time I got back to the City it ran about 8” (thankfully down in an arc). I had my glass guy order a new windshield and drill a small hole to stop it from continuing till the new one gets here.
However, with the onslaught of winter and sanded roads...
Finally got the truck back in the garage. I’ve had to park outside since we sold our RV and everything got unloaded in my bay till I reworked basement storage.
Woke up to frost and had to scrape my windshield. Enough of that $HIT.
Winters on its way!
Man, that’s just crazy money. I looked at a 24’ Limited up here in 🇨🇦 and they are list at $105,000 plus 12% tax. Not what you’d pay with incentives but still $$$.
Took my truck to Vancouver Island for a few days holiday. Took a chance with my summers on going over the Coquihalla high mountain pass. Nice and clear going.
Coming back it was snowing. Plows were out.
Decided to put her winter shoes on today. Might have to do another high mountain pass again...
Had to change the battery in the truck. Had the dealership do it so I didn’t end up with a bunch of things flashing and not working.
It made it 5-1/2 years so not that bad.
Having a good relationship with your dealership goes a LONG way in getting things covered. I’ve had things not covered by warranty but replaced by the dealership at their cost. I bought my first used vehicle from them 20 years ago. A few new trucks since then. I always get my service work done...
Going to do some traveling with the dogs. Ordered one of these neoprene covers from Amazon to protect the leather center consul from claws.
Bought one before for another trip. Do you think I can find it?
Nope!….But damn sure it’ll show up before I leave!
