My safety systems haven’t worked for over a year because of this calibration issue. After taking time to try to fix 3 times I just haven’t worried about it for a while but do need to try to get it rectified again.
Yes the dealership removes a windshield to replace the headliner. Or they remove the rear window. Either way they have to replace whichever one they remove. You can replace the headliner without removing either of course but that’s the way they do it
Most installers say they can get the headliner out and in without removing the windshield. They can bring it out the front passenger door from my understanding by doing something with the seat
Yeah you can either buy a new unlocked pcm or send yours in to be unlocked and the tune applied. They are Diablo tuned from procharger. I’ve switched over to hptuners.
Yeah I’ve saw what that rabbit hole can do. I have the control not to go that route. My truck is quick enough. It will surprise a scat pack at least and run with it for a few seconds lol
I don’t tow. Mine has been installed for 4 years but install around then would’ve been about 2k. I know people who have installed procharger kits themselves on previous gen rams. It’s not overly complicated with step by step instructions and support provided by procharger.
I have a procharged “daily” driver etorque 5th gen that has been incredibly reliable now for almost 60k miles being supercharged…. No issues at all running about 6psi
Oh I have a 5’7’’ bed. I don’t think it matters though. I think they make it intentionally so it folds up under the third brake light no matter the bed length.
I have no dog in this fight but just as info, I have folded my mirrors all the way forward and back manually a few times and I have no issues with my power folding. I could just be lucky though. I did it when I was changing my mirror covers to the painted ones and changing my turn signals to...
I feel like I have this noise and it has gotten worse in mine too. I had the clock spring replaced initially for some clicking noise but need to try to get this tsb done even though I’m past warranty period now I’ll pay for it if needed
With the suction cup you can pull down and out so that you are doing the same thing that y’all mentioned doing with the screwdriver just over a larger area of the mirror
