Makes sense @ eltaco, I guess i was referring to the the complete Mopar Kit, which I think sells between $1200-$1400 vs. going with Bilsteins+ORP Springs+ some sort of UCA, although really not needed at these lift levels. Seems a lot of people are contemplating that route, but once you put that...
Just wondering if anyone had any direct comparisons between the 5100's and/or other upgrades vs. just doing the Mopar lift? By the time you get Bilstein's all the way around and ORP springs, plus Mopar or other UCA's aren't you close to what the Mopar kit costs w/ Fox shocks? Just wondering how...
What a well thought out & organized decision. The criteria for your build and the reasoning behind your final selection makes perfect sense. Can't wait to see them on your rebel.
I saw that as well. The only thing that concerns me with this and the BDS/Fox set up is the lack of rear springs? I wonder why the don't include rear springs at that level of upgrade? I wonder how my non-ORP springs would work in conjunction with a set up like that.
Thanks IronKing, I wonder if the issue is Rebel Specific? Being that the rebels are already 'lifted' from the factory? Still if they advertise/sell as Rebel, it should still deliver as sold. Frustrating I'm certain. That said, for those of us who do not have Rebels, I wonder if we would get the...
oh, the suspense... have you installed the new Fabtech set up yet? Curious on your feedback between the different set ups between stock vs. Falcon vs. Fabtech vs. maybe some of your previous builds.
SoCal you are correct. I spoke w/ Carli today about their availability for the 2019+ Ram. They are expecting late summer release. This certainly complicates my Falcon/Icon decision. It might be worth it to wait for Carli. I've ridden in a few 2500's with Carli higher level suspension set ups and...
Looks Awesome, California is so diverse when it comes to getting outdoors. 2 hours in any direction can really get you into some really spectacular offroading/camping.
devildodge great stuff getting out there w/ the family and exploring. To piggyback, DE/MD beaches have been shut down for the past 6 weeks and supposedly aren't reopening until at least June. :(
I'm torn between the Fabtech kit & Icon Stage 2. The Icon Stage 2 is around $1900 so substantially cheaper, but I do believe you get UCA's with the fabtech kit, which I reckon justifies the extra cost. I'm honestly waiting for Desert Dawgs on truck review to make sure they ride well, as I've...
I think Dessert Dawg has them on order for his Rebel Build. He confirmed with Fabtech I believe the the exact specifications. Check the member build section of the forum, he has a detailed review of the lift and thought process behind it. Unfortunately due to Covid-19, he has not received so on...
I am currently researching a similar decision. But between the Tera-Flex/Falcon set up along with ORP springs and Icon stage 2 w/ their matched springs for the back. Comes out to almost equal for parts & install, i'm feeling that the icon set up w/ their matched springs will be a more 'tuned'...
What size wheel/tire combos are everyone running w/ the Falcon set up? I see a lot of you Rebel's are still running factory 18's or aftermarket 18's. I am really like the 20x9 Fuel Shok in +1 offset. But tire sizing with the falcon set up has me baffled.
Also, to the experts. Considering the...
