Comparing a 2014 truck to a 2024 truck and saying the only difference is price and inflation is ridiculous.
Newer tech, more base features, higher fuel costs, higher wages, higher everything...along with the biggest part, more restrictive and more expensive government mandates and...
Well, that too. But I know I'm stuck with it.
I want a 4x4 crew cab 6'4 bed with 33 gallon tank and the V6, either limited slip or locker rear in 3.55s, and prefer the off road package and level 2 Big Horn. And it must have bucket seats.
There's a bunch of trucks local here that fit close...
Another dumb question...
If a dealer has a 2022 truck on their lot that is still "new", unsold with 32 miles on it, can the current incentives for a 2023 apply to it or not? There's one that fits almost everything I want in a truck but their price is a little silly. MSRP of 59k, and their...
You think maybe it could be exactly what they suggested, and not the changed oil brands? They did kind of call it on the last one up above, which this most recent one showed out as likely.
I use Blackstone Labs also and their product is fantastic. I lean heavily towards trusting their opinions...
 Well, if you come across a V6 4x4 bucket seat 6'4" bed Bighorn with heated seats 3.55 rear, and premium sound, let me know. ORG or at least limited slip or locker rear would be nice too. What I REALLY want is that truck with ORG and 33 gallon tank in a crew cab, but that's not even an option.
Eh. Well. I wish Ram would update their website then. Why bother letting people look at what can be ordered for a 23, if there are no 23's able to be ordered.
Anthony, is all of this for in-stock or in-transit trucks only (it seems to be, if I'm not mis-reading it) or if I were to order one, could I get these? If I could order one and potentially have it by hunting season, I'd be very interested in talking to your sales folks. I went back and forth...
I say it's easy because...well...it's easy. Spin off, spin on. Eight (that's less than ten) seconds with a rag to wipe off the quarter or so ounce that hit the bar under the drain plug, and I'm done. Bring your truck by if you'd like, and I'll show you how. Lefty loosey, righty tighty...
There's plenty of things I can't do that other people can do easily. I don't get pissy at them about it. I tend to want to learn, to make my life easier. Not everyone wants to get better at things I suppose. I'd gladly teach everyone here who has trouble with their oil changes how to spin off...
The fuel filter on my 6.7 was far more of a pain in the rear than the oil filter on this 5.7, and it most definitely did spill fuel everywhere. But...that's what rags and catch pans are for.
Reading this just 100% confirms you are trolling or that you shouldn't be allowed to handle tools.
Take out the drain plug. Unscrew the filter. Put the new filter back in. Put the drain plug back in. Put new oil in.
What...what is so difficult for people? I am truly confused why so many...
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Well, if I was doing an "oil and filter change and other fluids and everything else clean up/inspect other areas" day, I would have written that. Wait, aren't you worried about bees flying in the open drain plug hole, as well and dust and sand getting blown...
Just did an oil and filter change on my '21 Rebel. Took me about 11 minutes, after grabbing one ratchet and one socket and one funnel and one rag and one oil catch pan and setting them next to the truck. No jackstands, no jack.
Not one drop of oil wound up on my driveway. Not one drop of oil...
Just did the Build a Ram for a 2023 on the website. If MD is doing 12.5% off MSRP for the truck I put together for my build, along with the Chrysler 2.9% financing, I may have to order a new truck and plan a flight to LA.
How does one get the affiliate pricing and what is the TDM coupon? I...
That's where I'm at. I love my '21 Rebel but want a bigger bed and bigger fuel tank. I haven't found a single truck with the 33 gallon tank. Haven't been looking real hard, but have yet to see one on a lot when I do.
Awesome. That'll be a damn fine project when you get it on the road!
A couple of shots of mine over the last 18 months or so. I really need to clean it up and do a photoshoot one of these days, with a better camera than my 6 year old Samsung. The ridiculous obnoxiousness of the Sublime doesn't...
