I'm no engineer, but I just sold my Rebel and bought a new Bighorn with 3.21s and empty truck seat of the pants feel is no different while fuel economy is much better. I'm happy with it.
Now, my Challenger has horrifically un-fun 2.76 gears. A winter project, budget dependent, is to go...
Brought home my new Bighorn today. Very happy with it so far, just from the 75 minute drive home from the dealer. Lie-o-meter says I got 20mpg on the trip, with all of my speeding up and slowing down and acceleration for break-in, etc. 3.21's are not nearly as anemic as I was worreid about...
The dealer I bought my Rebel from said the same thing, then a few minutes later he said I could. Before taking the keys I told him there was no way I was going to buy it as I was already doing paperwork on the Rebel and he just said take it easy and go for a spin. It was fun, and I kept my...
Don't you think that if the first paragraph is true, then filling it up to full every time is also going to be saving fuel because you don't have to pull in to the gas station and stop and get rolling again twice as many times? One less slow down/stop/accelerate because you had a full tank...
Work work truck I can do 50 bucks at a time in at the nearest fuel stop to me, and only use it 3 times a day. It sucks. Personal truck and card I just run it again if it hits a hundred. Faster and easier when already parked, than it is to find another station and pull in later.
33 gallon...
I don't like being under a half tank. Way too many times in my life I've needed to run to the truck, fire it up, and keep it running for a long time. Whether it's wildfires or power outages that shut down electricity and fuel pumps, getting stuck in weather in the middle of nowhere, or getting a...
Think I finally found the one I'm going with. Not exactly what I wanted but the price went low enough while talking to the dealer that I'll survive. I can upgrade the speakers later...or just live with the stock 6 speaker system. And I don't HAVE to have a 33 gallon tank.
Bighorn MSRP of...
Guess I'm back on the hunt. The dealership said they should be able to get the truck by this weekend. I've emailed and called a couple times and gotten no response since then. Actually got the salesman I was dealing with on the phone 2 days ago and he said he'd look in to it and call me back...
Mark Dodge sounds like the place to get one! I'm glad there is a great dealership around for people willing to make the trip. I was all set to order one but the likelihood of having to go out in the middle of winter and drive it back through who knows what kind of weather, depending on when it...
Ahhh, got it. Similar to what I was expecting. Thanks!
Edited: Perfect, that actually shows that the window sticker price is a bit under what the Build A Ram MSRP pre-incentive would be. Thank you.
99% sure I'll buy that truck now.
Looking at a Big Horn right now set up the way I want it except anti spin rear end that I'm thinking pretty hard about getting, that just popped up at a local dealer to me. I can live without the limited slip, although I read several places that people had installed an Eaton or similar with...
I need to go dig through my paperwork. I paid the dealer for an extended warranty when I bought it (yea I know, cheaper to do it differently but I didn't), but I don't see it on my Ram app and I got a lot of emails for the first year from Ram saying I didn't have an extended warranty and I...
I've been getting hand calculated high 16's combind out of my 2021 Rebel the last 1500 or so miles. I drive like a normal person most of the time though, so not as much fun as the truck is capable of.
Is that why I can't find a V6 bucket seat truck with the longer bed and a couple of other small options I want anyfreakingwhere? I've never found it so difficult to find someone to take a $50,000 check written out to them. :ROFLMAO:
More the question I came to ask, if I configure a truck...
