I started out with just a muffler delete and it wasn't quite enough. Sounded good aside from the stupid airy sound from the resonators. So then I decided to delete the resonators and kept that for a couple days but people were making comments that they could hear me from a mile away. And even in...
I honestly have no complaints at all. I only raised the front 1" and lowered the rear 1" so there's not near as much difference as the guys getting a full two inches out of the front. I'm averaging about 14-15mpg right now but it's been cold as hell here so the truck idles a bunch.
Yes I believe so because the control arm will be at a different angle with the daystar kit. So the links will still have to be used but you will have the benefit of having the factory air bag operating in the proper travel. Retain factory ride as close as possible
I test fitted without the links and surprisingly no rub but very close. I raised the front about an inch and looks to have a fair bit of clearance. I don't think there will be an issue in Aero mode because generally you are only on the highway and not turning sharp.
I can't believe you can score those wheels for 400-500 bucks down south. In Canada they are going for around 400 each wheel. I'm running 305 50r20 cooper zeons in those pictures.
How high did you bring the front up? I'm assuming the difference in ride that people are getting is because the different heights people are raising the front.
