The red duct tape holding the cardboard in place to keep from scratching isn't helping either.
I buffed and glazed the tail bed and the painters tape wouldn't stick so I went with the duct tape
Welcome glad you are here! That's a beautiful truck I do like the grille on the newer models the best.🤪
We all love pictures here ! You joined the best site for mods and repairs. :D
I got it on today. I like it much better in person and I think being so close to it makes the picture weird.
It is way stronger than the factory, but I need to weld it up and reinforce it. I like it
They way I figure it if all four mud flaps have that much dirt in them I'll be getting better gas mileage. 🤪
Plus I know it couldn't be any dirtier than it was in 4 or 5 years of use.
If it made it 5 years like that and went 5 more years for a total of 10 years it would be rusty.
I've got...
My brother has the attachment already 🤪 but I have to keep her clean if possible. Its probably a good idea to clean fender flares every 4 to 5 years.
Yes, weatherpack terminal connectors are what I've been using for years now. The Deutsch connectors appear to as they might be better.
Welcome and Congratulations! I'm sure you will be satisfied. This my first Mopar product and I similarly went through the same thing.
I'm was driving an F350 before I landed in my RAM 1500. I didn't get a brand new one but they are light years ahead the others in the year range.
We all LOVE...
Seems like lights were the object I first noticed them on. I have a bunch of the other type that's most commonly used and they feel junky with a lot of play in them.
Deutsch connectors seem like a much better method accept for buying another new tool. I guess it's a good reason to buy one 🤪
I was planning on installing a new bumper bumper and went down a rabbit hole. Once I removed the bumper I noticed it was a good time to check the spare tire. Once I removed the tire I had to clean and rinse the area. Then I noticed water was still dripping down overnight so I reached in and...
I used PUP for the first time right after I bought the truck. I think I bought it from Walmart and a Mopar oil filter from Amazon.
This was the first oil change I've done to it so I'm going to change it around 3k miles before going more mileage.
I finally got the driver side bed cleaned up, but...
I love it ! I think my intake purchase was my biggest flop so far in my truck build.
Where did you get your intake? Can I ask how much it was?
I like my S&B intake, but I think I maybe happier if I went that route.
It's very unlikely I'll get a deal like that especially when they are $71 used now. I'd happily pay $50 for the no name ones.
Since I'm not buying anything until I get some work done on current items it gives me time to watch the used item prices.
Thanks for the info
Thank you for the suggestion and I'll check them out. I really don't those chrome or white lettered mud flaps.
I'll probably modify the current ones until I install bumpers, upfitter switches, TRX wheels and the Falcon shock leveling system.
I probably have more stuff to do, but if I get the...
