I have 2" Readylift level. Installed at 24k miles. At 32k replaced both links. Now at 60k one of them is bad again. Thinking of going with suspension maxx rather than oem.
I also installed the Flowmaster FX. It has a little bit of a raspy sound that I mostly hear when standing behind the truck. I'd like to clean that up. Does sealing the resonator holes hwlp with that? Any disadvantages to sealing the holes, like corrosion by not letting moisture out the weep holes?
The tailgate ajar warning has never shown itself on my 2019 Laramie. Both my window sticker and my build sheet indictate the truck has it, yet on 2 different occasions when I've asked my dealer to activate it they've said my truck did not come with this function. Anyone else have this situation?
I think asked this as a comment on your youtube channel but I don't know much about YouTube so unsure. I have a Readylift 2" leveling kit on my truck. Installed at 24k miles when I bought it. At 33k miles had to replace front sway bar links. Now at 60k miles replacing again due to clunking...
I drove on them for one wisconsin winter. The ONLY reason I didn't replace them right away was I was waiting for the buy 3 get one free sale. That was a scary winter. I didn't have any mishaps, but I had no confidence in the tires. They just didnt feel right. Like the truck was floating on the...
I had this same problem, and wasn't able to drill out the old bolt, which was in the muffler side. Seemed like a good time to replace the stock muffler! Went with the Flowmaster Flow FX. :)
I also have the 8.4 non-Nav. I use android auto a lot. After several months I figured out that we actually do have voice control - have to press AND HOLD the voice button on the steering wheel. Your google assistant will activate.
71 Ford Galaxy 500 station wagon for me. Seems like it was about 30 feet long. Only drove that once at 14 when my parents didn't know i took it for a spin. At 16 when i had my license it was a 76 Jeep Cherokee 2 door. Rust bucket but I loved that beast
My experience with my 5.7 hemi was: larger, heavier, more aggressive tires lost 2-3 mpg. Rplaced stock muffler with Flowmaster Flow FX gained back about 1 mpg. Averaging around 17 mpg, although declining recently I believe from switching to winter blend fuels. I have not recalibrated the speedo...
I installed the Flowmaster FX about a month ago. I believe it has the sound profile you're looking for, but price is approaching $400 everywhere I looked. Like you I didn't want the raspy sound. Look on YouTube for sound samples. There are A LOT of options, but under $200 will be tough.
I bought a 2019 used in Oct 2020 with 24k miles. Two years later it has 55k miles. Both exhaust manifolds have been replaced and that's it. That's not particular to just 2019's.
Yowza, some of the rates I'm hearing are bordering on unbelievable! How much difference does the state you're in make? I am insuring 4 vehicles - my 2019 Ram, wife's 2020 Kia Telluride, 23 year old son's 06 Toyota Corolla, and 16 year old son's 2012 Mazda 3. All for about $3600/year. Liability...
First time I've ever done any aftermarket exhaust. I'm not used to being able to hear the exhaust at all. It's not too loud, or too quiet, and there's no drone. Just not sure I'm going like hearing it every time I push the gas pedal down.
I will say that I'd like a deeper tone when cruising at...
