Considering Ram - opinions on my choices so far

He’d be paying MSRP or close even on the current Tundra. Toyota, Honda, etc. don’t discount at all like the other brands. That’s how they’ve always been.

Considering Ram - opinions on my choices so far

It’s the most unsafe because it’s the oldest design of the bunch. It hasn’t seen a major overhaul since 2008 or so. I expect this to change once the redesigned tundra is tested.

Considering Ram - opinions on my choices so far

You might want to wait until 2022 to make your decision. Toyota will be releasing their all-new Tundra; the GM twins will be getting a huge interior redesign as well as minor tweaks to the front and rear of the trucks: and Ram should be getting UConnect 5. If you’re not in a rush to purchase...

Ram 1500 gets IIHS Top Safety Pick

IIHS just released their list for the 2021 Top Safety Pick Plus and Top Safety Pick awards. The Ram 1500 was the only full-size pickup to receive the Top Safety Pick award (no pickups in the Top Safety Pick Plus). Kudos to Ram for this accomplishment. A little caveat...IIHS does note that this...

    MAJOR electrical issues!!!!

This was my suspicion as well. @Dave_Drums did you by chance have the front windshield tinted? There’s been quite a few people that have had issues after having the windshield tinted due to water from the tinting process getting behind the dash and affecting the bcm...

Yes, it is definitely a known issue on the earlier BTS releases. You’ll have to go back through this thread, but look for the contact information for Debbie with Ram. She’s been an all-star in this whole spring debacle, and will get the ball rolling with your dealer.

Congrats on your new gator BTS. For the springs, you’ll want the part numbers to be ones found in the right column of the photo below. You’ll see stars next to the applicable part numbers (both the incorrect and correct springs).

New Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs getting installed soon. Going up a size too. How do y’all like them

Have you noticed any difference in the transmission’s shifting or shift points? The larger tires may throw things off...or at least I’ve heard that from others. they recalibrate for that reason alone...not so much the speedometer discrepancy.

    Built to serve editions -

As piening2150 said, the ceramic gray and black are long gone, and the only way to find one now would be used/pre-owned. The flame red units are just starting to hit dealer lots now, and the tank green units are probably still a few weeks out...it appears the factory starts with the traditional...

Different Exhaust Notes Between Trims (Stock Exhaust)

Yes, both the same cab/bed combo. Both crew cabs with the short bed. I’ll have to check to see if the 2019 has the inline resonator before the muffler. My 2020 doesn’t have it.

Different Exhaust Notes Between Trims (Stock Exhaust)

Random question, but does anybody know if different trim levels (i.e. Big Horn, Laramie, Limited, etc.) have different exhaust components leading to different exhaust notes? The reason I ask is that my father has a 2019 Limited with the 5.7L and I have a 2020 Big Horn with the 5.7L (both...

Factory White front GRILL on Ram 1500 Limited......how to order?

The truck in the video is a Laramie, not a Limited. The Limiteds do not come with painted grilles unless you get the Night Edition, which is painted black. Even with the body color bumpers group on the Limited, you still get the satin-chrome grille surround. The only way to get a body-colored...

TRX wrecked, not even off the assembly line!

The reflections in the paint on the roof and hood don't really match what's actually there on the ground... Dare I say this may be the work of a person with *decent* photoshop skills? Even the various workers in the photo are seen to be pretty nonchalant given what (presumably) happened.

Not sure if you removed it, but your truck is missing one of the main items of the BTS Edition. The American Flag decal on the side of the bed.

How do I order ventilated seats on Laramie?

Should be standard equipment on the Laramie for both front bucket seats and the front 40/20/40

Fourth Installment Of The 2021 Ram 1500 “Built To Serve” Edition Has Been Announced:

Not too many mods planned. I would like to add the 22” wheels from the Limited Night Edition and possibly the Bilsteins upfront to level it out. But other than that, keeping it mostly stock. As far as the search, I came up with my own system by plugging in pre-determined zip codes which allowed...

Looks great @TaterRam! The Billet Silver looks great on these trucks paired with the black bumpers and grills. If I hadn’t gotten my ceramic gray, the billet silver would have been my second choice!
